This is the sixth year KitchenAid has released it's colour of the year, and this year's is Butter. It's a rich, yellow shade with a beautiful satin finish that glistens in the light.

KitchenAid is well known for it's colourful range of stand mixers, which you might recognise from shows like The Great British Bake Off. If you're an avid baker, having a stand mixer is a brilliant way to take your bakes to the next level by allowing you to mix even the toughest doughs with ease, and make light airy mixes without any effort.

The colour of the year for 2024 was Blue Salt, a periwinkle blue with an iridescent finish. The brand also releases a limited edition Design Series every year, and for 2024 it was Evergreen, which proved popular with influencers like Nara Smith who regularly features it in her videos.

What colour is KitchenAid Butter?

KitchenAid's new colour, Butter, is a rich, creamy yellow with a satin finish. It is off set with stainless steel elements such as the band which goes around the head of the machine, and the button for accessories.

The bowl that accompanies the mixer is a brushed stainless steel with a handle which makes it easy to carry. We've seen the trend for making butter at home take off in recent months, and the brand has partnered with All Things Butter for this release.

If you're looking to add a pop of colour to your kitchen, appliances are a great place to start. Whether you're looking for classic tones or hues that are right on trend, KitchenAid has a wide range on offer from kettles and toaster to stand mixers.

In the core collection you'll find Almond Cream and Empire Red, but if you're after a bright hue you can choose from the whole rainbow — a favourite of ours is Pistachio. There are more customisable options with glossy, matte or pebbled finishes available. You can even have your mixer engraved with a personalised message or emoji.

You'll find the widest range of colours available in the Artisan Tilt-Head 4.7L stand mixer, which is also the model where you can find the new colour of the year.
