Date flapjacks
Turn a handful of storecupboard ingredients into an easy bake. Mixed seeds and a peanut butter drizzle make these flapjacks look impressive but they only need 10 minutes hands-on time
These oaty flapjack bars are sticky with golden syrup and brown sugar. Serve them up with a cup of tea or pack into lunch boxes for an energy hit

Pre-heat oven at 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Melt the sugar, butter, syrup and bicarb in a pan. Then add the flour and oats. Spread into a dish and bake for 20-30 mins, until golden.
