Try our dry gin martini, then discover our espresso martini, beetroot vodka martini or passion fruit martini.

A martini is all about the ratio of spirit to vermouth – the more spirit you use, the drier the martini. We used a 5:1 ratio of gin to dry vermouth for this recipe, but you could use 4:1 or go drier with 6:1, 7:1, 8:1 or even higher – it all depends on your preference. Make sure you stir together the ingredients well with ice – the dilution this achieves is key to the final drink.
