This twist on a classic margarita is the perfect thing to cool you down on late summer days – it would work as a jug cocktail too. The recipe comes from Spice Market, a South-east Asian restaurant in the W Hotel, Leicester Square, that serves stylish interpretations of street food

- 30ml Sauza Hornitos Reposado tequila
- 50ml ginger syrup
- 12.5ml Cointreau
- to garnish ginger salt or ground ginger or salt or or lime slice
Method
step 1
Rim a rocks glass with ginger salt. Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and shake vigorously. Strain over ice into the prepared glass, garnish with a slice of lime.
