Amaro is very popular in Italy, with Santoni itself hailing from Tuscany. A modernised amaro, its unique, patented vacuum distillation makes the botanicals bright and fresh.   • 20ml Amaro Nonino Quintessentia
  • 20ml Aperol
  • 20ml bourbon
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • lemon twist

    Method

    • step 1

      Put all of the ingredients except the garnish in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until the outside of the shaker feels very cold. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

    • step 2

      Shake well, then double-strain into a martini or coupe glass and garnish with a strip of lemon peel.
