A close cousin to the manhattan, instead of bourbon or rye the rob roy uses scotch whisky for a drier, subtly smoky result
Skip to ingredients
- 60ml blended scotch whisky
- 30ml sweet vermouth
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- maraschino cherryto garnish (optional)
Method
step 1
Put the scotch, vermouth and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until really chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry, if you like.
