Spicy fish sandwiches with harissa slaw recipe

  • 500-600g fish goujons (we used breaded cod bites)
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • soft rolls

SLAW

  • ½ small sweetheart cabbage
    finely shredded
  • 1 carrot
    finely shredded
  • 1 small red onion
    halved and finely sliced
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp harissa
  • handful of coriander
    chopped

Method

  • step 1

    To make the slaw, mix the cabbage, carrot, onion, mayo, yogurt, harissa and coriander, and season well.

  • step 2

    Put the goujons on a baking tray, sprinkle over the spices and some salt, and cook following pack instructions.

  • step 3

    Lightly toast the buns then divide the slaw between them, top with the goujons and a few gherkin slices, and serve with fries on the side.
