- 75g butterat room temperature
- 1 large soft white loafoval shaped
- 450g dry-cured streaky bacon
- 340g jar smooth peanut butter
- 250g jar blueberry jelly or jam

Method
step 1
Heat the oven to 190C/fan 170C/gas 5. Spread the butter all over the outside of the loaf in a thin layer. Put the loaf in the oven for 15 minutes to warm and crisp up the crust.
step 2
Grill the bacon until crisp and golden. Split the loaf lengthways and hollow a thin layer of bread from the top and bottom of the loaf. Spread the bottom with the peanut butter and the top half with the jelly/jam. Top the peanut butter side with the bacon. Sit the top half on and gently press down. Cut into slices.
